Ted Waddell's book, "Cheatgrass Dreams," is a finalist in the Creative Nonfiction Category of the High Plains Book Awards. The winners will be announced on September 26 in Billings, Montana at an awards banquet in conjunction with the High Plains BookFest. There are two other finalists in The Creative Nonfiction category: "The 10 Greatest Gifts We Give Each Other: A Memoir on the Magic of Marriage Vows" by Barbara Vannoy and "Black Water: Family, Legacy, and Blood Memory by David A. Robertson.
