Congratulations to Judith Kindler for being awarded with PONCHO artist of the year!

Christopher Reilly gave an artist chat at the gallery on Saturday. He did an encaustic demonstration and everyone really loved it! Here are a few photos of his demonstration.Â

“Encaustic” painting was first practiced centuries ago by the Greeks and Romans, and means “burned in,” implying the use of heat. Traditionally the process involved heating and mixing of dry pigments and beeswax, and it results in a rich, lustrous surface.
Tony Foster has been hidden away at a secret spot painting for his upcoming show “Secret Sites - Watercolour Diaries by Tony Foster.” The show opens September 4th and we are all very excited about it! Checkout some of these photographs of Tony working on the new work and his secret spot!
